Born from a passionate collaboration between AmberPickups and Limitless Custom Guitars, the Mockingbird carries the legacy of classic Firebird pickups—reimagined, refined, and imbued with the heart of a P90.
It sounds like a good old P90 after a shot of adrenaline: fat, raw, and full of life, yet with a calmness in the background that’s almost frightening.
Honestly? It barely hums—but only barely. In return, it rewards you with a tone so lively and open that you’re happy to put up with that little bit of residual hum.
At the neck, the Mockingbird sings with silky warmth, effortlessly floating between clear articulation and creamy depth.
At the bridge, it shows its wild side—grippy mids, a tight punch, and just the right amount of “grit” to bring every note to life.
A tone that rears up, bites, and then fades away with a long breath—like the call of its namesake.
Every Mockingbird is loosely wound by hand (scatter wound)—no wax, no damping, no compromises.
This keeps the tone open, free, and responsive to every nuance of your playing—from delicate fingerwork to a hard strum.

Returns & Cancellations
Not satisfied with a standard item (in-stock item)? No problem. We accept returns for eligible items within 30 days of delivery. Please ensure that the items are unused and in their original packaging. The buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
